Threatened Species: The following list includes all mammals which occur in the Bahamas and are rated as Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) or Vulnerable (VU) in the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals.

Endangered:
- Bahaman Raccoon (Procyon maynardi). (Endemic to the Bahamas.)
- Northern Right Whale (Eubalaena glacialis).
Vulnerable:
- American Manatee (Trichechus manatus).
- Bahaman Funnel-eared Bat (Natalus tumidifrons). (Endemic to the Bahamas.)
- Bahaman Hutia (Geocapromys ingrahami). (Endemic to Bahamas.)
